Ingredients:

4 egg whites |
1 ½ cups sugar |

¼ tsp salt |
1 ½ cups chocolate chips |
|
¼ tsp cream of tartar |
1 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add salt and cream of tartar, continue beating until stiff, but not dry. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition. Fold in chips and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet covered with ungreased heavy paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
